Planting trees and improving air quality
Planting trees and improving air quality
  • Electric Vehicle charging points installed in Moor Lane car park.
  • Decarbonising local industry to tackle climate change and improve Frodsham’s air quality.
  • Delivering HyNet to create a new hydrogen powered energy network.
  • Declared an Air Quality Management Area on Fluin Lane in 2018 to take action on air quality.
  • Prosecuting fly-tippers who dump rubbish in our town, like at Frodsham Marshes or at Hares Lane where a fine of £2,683 was issued to an offender.
  • Tree planting sites in and around Frodsham as part of our Mersey Forest partnership to plant millions of new trees in CWaC.
  • Various sites identified by residents for wildflower planting in our consultation to green our town.
