“I’ve been serving as a councillor in Ellesmere Port for over 40 years, and I’ll continue to fight for positive changes in the new Whitby Groves ward. I will work with local schools – hit hard by Tory cuts – to ensure all our children receive a decent education. I will demand safety improvements to our roads and pavements, and will support the town’s entry to ‘North West in Bloom’, so that bulbs and flowers are planted to enhance our local environment. With the Labour team, I will fight against social isolation, supporting our elderly residents through an improved Age-friendly Communities programme.”
