Elizabeth MacGlashan
Great Boughton
About
I’m Elizabeth; I’m a proud scouser, brought up in a council house by my hardworking mum. On the estate we knew our neighbours and did right by them, simple. My family values of listening to what others have to say and being there when they needed a helping hand have stayed with me today. I will always listen and do my best to help others; the role of Ward Councillor is one of service and a privilege to hold.
I live in Great Boughton, I chose to raise my family here and this is why I put my community first and foremost. I will be your voice and am determined that we will be heard.
I am also a teacher with a keen interest and expertise in education, Infants and Special Needs in particular. I want all of our children to have the best opportunities possible. In the Council chamber, I have spoken up about the need for foster carers and am a passionate corporate parent to the children within the Council’s care. I will do right by them, and right by you
