I have been a councillor for 28 years. 15 years in Lancashire and a total of 13 years in Winsford/ Cheshire West and Chester.

My professional background is education, as a teacher, inspector and Governor Trainer. I have held an number of positions within my time as a councillor, leader of a Borough Council, Mayor of WTC and Chair of a number of committees. My main interests are Health and Wellbeing, Environment and community work.

I believe that everyone has skills, abilities and personal qualities and as a Council we should be helping people within the borough to develop their aspirations.

Surgery Information

I do not hold regular surgeries, from experience I prefer to meet people where they are and visit various groups within the ward. Much more rewarding than sitting in the Library for two hours. I would also like to do ‘walking surgeries’. Opportunities arise when out walking the ward and delivering leaflets etc. I do not use Facebook, Twitter (X) or Instagram.
