I am glad to work on behalf of and represent residents in Sutton Villages ward, where myself and my family have lived for over 50 years. After attending Brookside, Sutton Way and EPGS, I served a mechanical apprenticeship at Vauxhall Motors where I worked for 42 years, during which time I was a UNITE trade union shop steward and a safety representative.

When it comes to my elected role, I am a Cabinet member for Workforce, Democracy and Community, Chair of the Corporate Disability Access Forum and have a leading role within Equality groups. I am Chair of Governors at Brookside primary school. I am currently Deputy Mayor of Ellesmere Port and a member of Ellesmere Port Charter Trustees.
